This was an olive plantation on the side of a hill on the way up to San Paolo near tivoli. It was late in the afternoon with some nice light hitting the plantation as we were driving past!! The hills around this area are so beautifully manicured the colours are so intense as well!! Great time of the year to be traveling thru Italy it’s not too cold nor too hot just perfect!!
Hey all this is one of 2 major entrances to Piazza San Marco in Venezia. I could not go past with out taking a photo of this area it holds so much history to think of what once walked thru these places is just mind blowing!! Yes that’s my best buddy Capo in the shot!! Waiting patiently for me!! I would like to dedicate this image to Daniel for his friendship & help!! I hope this image does Daniel proud because if it wasn’t for Daniel I would of given photography up 12 months ago due to a few issue’s & a lack of direction with things!! Hey everyone due to me having some contacts in Italy!! We are putting together an Italian workshop!! It will capped at 5 people!! It will be a 10 day photographic tour!! We will visit places like Venice, Florence, the Tuscan region ie:- Sienna, Orvieto just to name a few places!! Workshop will be in held late October to early November!! People interested let me know!! We are putting together a brochure for it now!!
Yes what a day in Rome!! This was one of the best days we had in Italy thanks to a few cousins of mine!! The drinking started very early this particular day it was insane!! Not to mention this was one of the only days it didn’t rain. Any how we parked the car about a “k” from the Colosseum so we had to do a bit of walking yes I can still hear the protest from the girls!! hehe. Anyway on the way to the Colosseum we had to pass one of Rome’s oldest buildings as I looked up this is what I saw it couldn’t have been more perfect!! Talk about being in the right place at the right time!! This shot to me shows off Rome it’s character you felt like you were a part of history!!
Hey guys “Yes” I’ve been burning the candles at both ends to try & get some images out!! To be honest my trip to Italy 3 years ago was a little regretful to say the least in terms of photography!! Not many people in our industry get the chance to re-shoot again in a foreign country!! Some of us aren’t even lucky enough to experience life outside of Australia!! So we should all be thankful for who we are & what we do!! It’s locations like this around the world that make photography all worth it. It almost seems like a fairy land!! Daniel & I were in the car driving thru Tuscany taking all the back roads as you do whilst on a road trip & we came over a rise & this is what we seen!! A perfect day coupled with a perfect location what more could a landscape photographer ask for?? Although Daniel isn’t a landscape photographer & he was impressed so hopefully that tells you something? Anyway this was an eight image stitch!!

Hey guys yes finally back home getting into some images from the Italy trip!! This one was HDR’d. This is one of the oldest chruch’s in europe & you guest it!! It’s in Tivoli Italy my cousin just got married in it back in July of this year!! Daniel was lurking some where in the background doing his stuff. This was one of our rain free days!!
For some reason the wireless internet is screaming along today making things easy!! This shot above was taken in Tuscany the hillsides were fantastic!! It’s time for planting new cropes at the moment & there are patches of dug up dirt every where making for spectacular patterns!! The sunlight was giving off a nice golden glow this particular day for once it’s been raining every other day making things extremely difficult!!
Hi Guys this was a shot taken over the past couple of days 10kms near my fathers home town of Celano!! This place is called Ovindoli its mainly a ski village but has it’s locals of course!! It’s been extremely tough to be aable to post anything as well as work on images on this trip. I’d rather be shooting than posting things at the moment there are just so many things to see & do. This shot above is a six image stitch the clouds come in heavy this & the sun was trying to poke its head thru giving a little light to the snow giving it a slight glow!! Right place right time I guess. Hopefully I’ll be able to post a couple more before I leave on friday!! Home sweet home!!
