Bangkok Airport

Since we had our flight delayed 8hrs in Bangkok!!  What else do you do???  Take photo’s & hope not to get busted by local authorities!! I love my 14mmMKII wide angle!! This one has been HDR’d as well!!!  Bangkok Airport is bloody big for people that haven’t been there!! Very modern Architecture!! as you can see I think Daniel has also posted an image of the airport as well giving a perspective of the width!!  this is looking up directly onto the ceiling whilst walking down to the boarding gates……  This was on the way to Italy!!  Also used a very slight texture on this shot mainly on the sails!!

A day in “Frascati” Italy

This was a pretty cold day & yes it was raining again!! Go figure!!  Anyhow while Daniel was stuffing his face with a Pork roll I seen this just fall off a tree whilst we were hanging around!!  So as you do I took a photo of it!!  The leaf against the texture of the cobble stones really got my eye!!  Did I mention that my Uncle Roberto was with us on this particular day?  He decided that he would come with us & show us some sights around this old town called “Frascati” personally I think he had other ideas like take us drinking!!  Did I mention we also stopped in at a Cantina where they sell wine straight out of the barrels!!  OMG we were smashed by the time we left!!  Any how a day that Daniel & I would not forget in a long time!!  Oh yeah my Uncle Roberto he had to drive!!  hehehe

Another one from Venezia!!

Hey all couldn’t help taking this photo for the dramatic sky!!  There weather had been shit for most of the trip to say the least!!  Shouldn’t complain too much I was in Italy after all!!  this one was HDR’d also!!  multiple images in photomatix!!  Plus a texture used one that we shot on the day!!  Stay posted for textures they will be available very soon!!  You will be able to purchase the textures on line thru our paypal acc!!

Olive Plantation

This was an olive plantation on the side of a hill on the way up to San Paolo near tivoli.  It was late in the afternoon with some nice light hitting the plantation as we were driving past!!  The hills around this area are so beautifully manicured the colours are so intense as well!!  Great time of the year to be traveling thru Italy it’s not too cold nor too hot just perfect!!

Venezia (A dedication to my mate)

Hey all this is one of 2 major entrances to Piazza San Marco in Venezia.  I could not go past with out taking a photo of this area it holds so much history to think of what once walked thru these places is just mind blowing!!  Yes that’s my best buddy Capo in the shot!!  Waiting patiently for me!!  I would like to dedicate this image to Daniel for his friendship & help!!  I hope this image does Daniel proud because if it wasn’t for Daniel I would of given photography up 12 months ago due to a few issue’s & a lack of direction with things!!  So mate if & when you read this know that I owe you everything for what you have done for me & my photography!!

Italian workshop!!

Hey everyone due to me having some contacts in Italy!! We are putting together an Italian workshop!! It will capped at 5 people!! It will be a 10 day photographic tour!! We will visit places like Venice, Florence, the Tuscan region ie:- Sienna, Orvieto just to name a few places!! Workshop will be in held late October to early November!! People interested let me know!! We are putting together a brochure for it now!!

Rome

Yes what a day in Rome!!  This was one of the best days we had in Italy thanks to a few cousins of mine!!  The drinking started very early this particular day it was insane!!  Not to mention this was one of the only days it didn’t rain.  Any how we parked the car about a “k” from the Colosseum so we had to do a bit of walking yes I can still hear the protest from the girls!! hehe.  Anyway on the way to the Colosseum we had to pass one of Rome’s oldest buildings as I looked up this is what I saw it couldn’t have been more perfect!!  Talk about being in the right place at the right time!!  This shot to me shows off Rome it’s character you felt like you were a part of history!!

“La Toscana” Tuscany

Hey guys “Yes” I’ve been burning the candles at both ends to try & get some images out!!  To be honest my trip to Italy 3 years ago was a little regretful to say the least in terms of photography!!  Not many people in our industry get the chance to re-shoot again in a foreign country!!  Some of us aren’t even lucky enough to experience life outside of Australia!!  So we should all be thankful for who we are & what we do!!  It’s locations like this around the world that make photography all worth it.  It almost seems like a fairy land!!  Daniel & I were in the car driving thru Tuscany taking all the back roads as you do whilst on a road trip & we came over a rise & this is what we seen!!  A perfect day coupled with a perfect location what more could a landscape photographer ask for?? Although Daniel isn’t a landscape photographer & he was impressed so hopefully that tells you something?  Anyway this was an eight image stitch!!

Venezia

Hi all this is one of my pano’s from Venice this place has so much character you could spend an eternity photographing in this place!! Used a couple of textures on this one that we also shot in Venice as well!!  Daniel & I are putting a CD of textures together they will be available to purchase very shortly stay posted!!

“La Carita”

Hey guys yes finally back home getting into some images from the Italy trip!!  This one was HDR’d.  This is one of the oldest chruch’s in europe & you guest it!! It’s in Tivoli Italy my cousin just got married in it back in July of this year!!  Daniel was lurking some where in the background doing his stuff.  This was one of our rain free days!!
